Cools quickly and saves energy. Love the remote I bought this air conditioner yesterday when my five year old 4500 BTU Samsung broke. I did not purchase this through Amazon, but rather, since this was an emergency situation in a hot DC apartment where I have young children, I ran out to Bestbuy to purchase it, and was actually able to get a slightly better price than what is listed here on Amazon for the same model.
